Intence “Light Up” The Place With New Visual

Intence has teamed up with Zimi Entertainment for yet another release this year. This time he delivers a brand new track titled “Light Up,” which is already holding the #14 spot on the local Youtube trending list hours after its release.

“Light Up” is definitely not your ordinary Intence track. The “Yeng Badness” artiste seemingly tries his hand at a new flow and vocal delivery on this one. The new stuff isn’t plastered all over the track but cleverly injected whenever the artiste wants to provide a certain feeling. Intence still manages to show up from a lyrical standpoint, which didn’t go unnoticed by fellow co-worker Govana.

The Strikeforce leader stepped into the comment section below a promotional post on Intence’s page and commented a line while giving Intence his approval. “Nuh pubG… did tell yuh yaah guh dweet doh,” wrote Govana along with a smiling emoji. Intence responded by saying, ” Yuh knw mi Gad.”

Like just about every other Intence track, “Light Up” also comes with some form of visual representation. Shot By Deth handled the cameras on this one, but keeps it relatively simple and chill, at least in reference to his level of artistry. The scenes used in the final upload are predominantly from a get together that takes place indoors, along with the contrast of Intence stepping through the streets with a small entourage.

You can check out all that Intence has to say below.

Quavo was speaking to Kevin Durant on his The ETCs podcast when he gave an update on the album as well as spoke about the flair and excitement he wants the 3rd installment to be accompanied by.

“We want to have an album listening and have people in the thang and really hearing the album, like, I can’t drop no album and let the internet judge my album,” the rapper added with a laugh. “It just don’t make sense. Culture II was released on January 26, 2018, which could be an indication of when the follow-up will become available. The full-length, double platinum project featured the likes of 21 Savage, Drake, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Ty Dolla Sign, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Post Malone, and 2 Chainz. There is little talk about the persons on Culture III, but the team did drop “Need It” featuring NBA Youngboy earlier this year.

So far we’re aware of two big name features coming on Culture III, Young Thug and Travis Scott. Sources also say Cardi B and Saweetie, who are in relationships with two of the Migos stars, also record songs for the project. Nicki Minaj Barbz Drags Meek Mill For Mentioning Her Baby In Clubhouse Rant

Meek Mill is getting dragged by Nicki Minaj’s Barbz for mentioning her and her newborn baby boy on Clubhouse.

Meek Mill is once again being accused of being obsessed with Nicki Minaj and her family. While in a discussion on ClubHouse, Meek apparently mentioned Nicki and her newborn baby and her husband, who he acknowledged as her “boyfriend.” The Barbz shut Meek down after the unwarranted comments, especially since Meek keeps bringing up Nicki, but she never has anything to say about him.

In the video online with several people, Meek is heard speaking in relation to a ShadeRoom post which “they had me up there, me vs Nicki boyfriend. Nicki just had a f**king baby, I just had a f**king baby, who responsible for this bulls*t?” It seems that Meek is also keeping abreast of what’s happening in the life of his ex-girlfriend.

Another speaker, whose ClubHouse name is Chino, can be heard telling Meek he didn’t want him talking about Nicki Minaj in the conversation, and we know why. Barbz then decided to drag Meek Mill for his comments.

One commenter said, “Idk. But in general, h needs to stop obsessing over Nicki.”

Another fan also corrected Meek, who refuses to acknowledge that Kenneth Petty is now Nicki’s husband – “No sir u mean Nicki’s husband,” while another said, “Um sir Kenny is Ncki’s husband….”

Another fan said “he know. He’s just being childish,” in response to fans correcting Meek on who Kenneth Petty is.

Another fan commented on Meek Mill using every opportunity to mention Nicki Minaj “If it’s one thing about Meek, he gon mention Nicki.” Another added, “It’s 2:15 am in the morning and Meek Mill on ClubHouse talking about Nicki, her husband and their baby. They probably sleep.”

French Montana Says Near Death Cause Him To Quit Alcohol & Drugs

French Montana quit alcohol and drugs a year ago after a life threatening illness caused from intoxication.

Many people envy the rapper’s lifestyle. It emulates money, alcohol, and sometimes drugs. One popular rapper, French Montana, has revealed that this exact lifestyle almost claimed his life in 2019. While being interviewed for an XXL cover story, he revealed some of the details about that near-death experience and how it led him to stop drinking alcohol.

The article was published yesterday, Monday, December 28. Montana said that in November 2019, he had to be hospitalized for a week because of his long-time habits. He explained that the experience came about because of “runnin’ for like a good 20 years without a break.” He added that drinking all the time and popping pills are what eventually led him to do some introspection about his lifestyle.

“Just collapsed, too much drinking, too many pills,” he said. He admitted to having problems with Percocet, which in recent times has become famous as a highly addictive drug used by celebrities. “Percocet starts off as pain relief, and then it ends up being a hobby, and then it ends up being an addiction.”

While languishing in the ICU, he was informed that if he kept drinking, it could lead to a quicker death. He recalled that he had just done French 2.0. The harsh news helped him to change his ways.

“And this is how I changed it. Stepped back, took two steps back, didn’t drop no music, detox from social media… And I think that was like the hardest thing I ever did in my life, to snatch myself back,” he said.

Montana also shared that he was discovered by police who had come to his home following a false report that his home was being broken into. When he was discovered, he was suffering from severe stomach pains, nausea, and an elevated heart rate. They contacted an ambulance that took him to the hospital.

He described stopping alcohol as a major achievement. He ranked it in his top two achievements of all time. The other was taking his mother back to Africa. He’s made a year so far and is continuing strong. “So that was the day, it was November 21, last year. And since that day, I never had a drink. I just made a year,” he continued.

Master P and Baron Davis Could Make Reebok Black-Owned For $2.4 Billion

Master P wants to turn the Reebok brand into a black-owned company as he and his compatriot ex-NBA All-Star Baron Davis seeks to buy the company from its parent Adidas. News broke on Monday the two men have been interested in buying the company, which has a sales tag of $2.4 billion, as it records massive losses in 2020.

Master P, whose real name is Percy Robert Miller, is a rapper, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur who owns a $200 million fortune, while Davis is a former NBA basketball player and now television sports analyst.

Reebok, which was popular in the 90s and early 2000s, has struggled to keep up with shoe giants like Nike and New Balance. Master P spoke to ESPN regarding the deal “these companies have been benefiting off us, this could be history for this company going black-owned.”

He also told ESPN that the talks to acquire the company have been underway for two months with Adidas and that he and Davis are “prepared financially.” ‘Imagine if Michael Jordan owned Reebok? That’s what I’m talking about making history.”

Percy "Master P" Miller confirms to ESPN that he's in negotiations to acquire Reebok with ex-NBA guard Baron Davis.

"These companies have been benefiting off us, this could be history for this company going Black-owned," Miller tells ESPN.

— Eric Woodyard (@E_Woodyard) December 28, 2020

He also said that the idea of turning the brand into black-owned meant that the community would also benefit. “As we focus on turning Reebok into a lifestyle brand not just a basketball brand, our most important initiative will be put money back into the community that built this company.”

Meanwhile, Davis, who was formerly sponsored by Reebok during his basketball career, said he felt Reebok was undervalued. “I left Nike as a 22-year-old kid representing myself and made the jump to Reebok, which took a chance on me as a creative and as an athlete….I want the people I know athletes, influencers, designers, celebs to sit at the table with me.”

According to the Daily Mail, Adidas acquired Reebok based in Boston for $3.8 billion.

A decision is to be announced in March as to Reeboks’s strategy going forward, even as investors call for the company’s divestment as the company’s net sales dropped 7% in the third quarter of 2020 to $489.40 million, after falling 44% in the preceding quarter. The year 2020 has been devastating for Reebok sales and understandably so due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Popcaan Producer Dre Skull Buys $7 Million Mansion In Los Angeles

Dre Skull finishing the year on high by copping a $7 million mansion in Los Angeles.

Any fan of Dancehall will be familiar with the work of dancehall music producer Dre Skull. He’s produced music for some of the top names in the genre like Popcaan, Vybz Kartel, and Beenie Man, to name a few. He’s also worked with American artists like Snoop Dogg and Lily Allen. He and Diplo have also produced a lot of music over the years. The effort he puts behind the production through his company, Mixpak Records, has definitely been paying off.

He’s been credited with making one of the biggest deals in real estate in 2020 in the pristine Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angelos, where he bagged a Mediterranean compound for US$7 million. The transfer was completed last month. According to Variety, the house was built in 1928 and was restored by filmmaker Guy Shelmerdine and his wife, Ashley Jacobs.

Dre Skull, whose real name is Andrew McClain Hershey, is now the proud owner. He currently lives in New York, where he has an NYC recording complex. Music is not his only source of funds, however, as he is also the heir to an East Coast-based insurance fortune, which his father built and started with a US $1.7 billion deal. His dad’s company Capitol American was bought by Conseco for the staggering figure back in 1997.

Variety gave a glimpse of what Dre Skull’s mansion looks like. They described the location as one of the best streets in the area. They also revealed that the villa contains three separate structures, which include a detached three-car garage, a two-story main house, and a guesthouse at the back of the property, which is about a third of an acre.

According to the listing for the home, only the garage can be seen from the street, while a walled and gated entryway protects the main house. The front of the property also has original French doors leading to the gardens. The main house has three bedrooms and two full baths, along with several other rooms, one of which is a large fourth bedroom, which could become his new west coast working space.

The property’s backyard has also been described as one of its best features and includes a full outdoor kitchen with BBQ. The property seems ideal for the producer who may be attempting to balance his workload with some relaxation.

Adam & The Ants – Plastic Surgery Lyrics

Adam ant

Hey, you got a face like a labrador
I don’t mind that’s what I’m here for
The angel gabriel sent me
To give you a little bit of sympathy

I’m gonna take you down to harley street

Such a shame you had that crash
That will teach you to drive flash
And a lorry hit you at full power
Your blood gushing like a shower

Plastic surgery – it’s so plastic
Plastic surgery – fantastic
(and you better take me away)

Well you might have to sell your car
And your parent’s brand new house
You lie awake and lose your sleep
Baby, miracles do not come cheap

Well you can have a brand new nose
Light blue eyes or even hazel
A little ear will be much better
When you are a real go getter

Don’t go sitting in the sun
Your new face might start to run
Just forget your makeup scheme
Clean your face with mr. sheen

Sondre Lerche – Patience Lyrics

[Intro]
Time moves like a glacier through my mind
Glides by like songs I'll never find

[Verse 1]
Darling do you wanna hear?
Such a pretty little thing
That I pulled out of thin air
That I wrote down in your blood

[Chorus]
Patience, I'm coming

[Post-Chorus]
Time moves like a glacier through my mind
Glides by like songs I'll never find

[Verse 2]
Darling do you wanna see?
This performance piece of work
That you sometimes sleep next to
That I loosely based on you

[Chorus]
Patience, I'm coming
Patience, I'm coming
[Bridge]
I once met a guy 'bout my size
And he said "I can't believe no one knows who you are"
And I thought "Oh well, the stars are at it again, it's a quiet night somewhere"
"Thanks for autographing my kid", she said "I had it tattooed"

"You helped me through some dark times"
A woman on the verge of tears, after midnight, in a parking lot in Denver, told me in confidence, "You should be on The Voice, Adam would love you"
But I thought, shrug emoji, shrug emoji
Wind blows through a field of green
Purple heart, we can only take so much
But some have to take so much more

[Chorus]
Patience, I'm coming
Patience, I'm coming

[Outro]
Patience, I'm coming (Moves like a glacier through my mind)
Patience, I'm coming (Glides by like songs I'll never find)
Patience, I'm coming (Moves like a glacier through my mind)
Patience, I'm coming (Glides by like songs I'll never find)
Patience, I'm coming (Moves like a glacier through my mind)
Patience, I'm coming

Daniel O’donnell – Not Until The Next Time Lyrics

Not until the next time
Will I cry all night for you
Yes, I’ll stop loving you
Until the next time.

Here I am the way you left me
With a heart so full of pain
As I look into the past
I see the picture once again.

Each time I let it happen
I vow this is the end
And I stopped loving you
Until the next time.

Not until the next time
Will I cry all night for you
And listen when you beg me
For a chance when your untrue.

Not until the next time
Will my heart let me forgive
Yes, I’ll stop loving you

Until the next time.

Once again I take your picture
And place it out of sight
And I put away the record
We listen to each night.

I rearrange each little thing thing
As I’ve done so many times
And I won’t put them back
Until the next time.

Not until the next time
Will I cry all night for you
And listen when you beg me
For a chance when your untrue.

Not until the next time
Will my heart let me forgive
Yes, I’ll stop loving you
Until the next time…

Charlemagne Tha God Says The Drake Era Of Hip Hop Is Over

Charlamagne Tha God says Drake’s reign over hip hop for the past decade has come to an end.

It’s been years now that Drake has been considered one of the best in the rap game in modern times. He’s had several multi-platinum hits and is sought after by many in the genre looking for a boost to their own career. His hold on rap has been recognizable for at least a decade, and Charlamagne Tha God believes the time of Drake is over. He made the comments while speaking on his “Brilliant Idiots” podcast on December 24.

He started off the discussion by posing the question to the listeners. He asked, “Let me ask y’all a question: Are we still in the Drake era? Is radio such a prehistoric form of media that it hasn’t changed the temperature to what’s actually going on in these streets?”

One of his guests, music industry executive and media personality Wayno Clark, seemed to also feel that Drake’s reign was over as he answered: “we’re in the Lil Baby Er.” Another guest Nyla didn’t agree with the sentiments shared by the two. Charlemagne chimed in with his two cents, saying that he believed radio still made Drake popular, but that’s not the feeling on the ground.

Shenseea & Drake

“Radio, they haven’t caught up to what’s actually going on in the streets yet. They haven’t change the temperature. So, it still feels like we’re in a Drake Era—I don’t think we’ve been in the Drake era for the last two-three years,” he added.

Charlamagne Tha God also said he did not have high expectations for Drake’s new project, “Certified Lover Boy”. He then used Kendrick Lamar to convey the gist of what he was getting to. “Kendrick makes us wait. Kendrick gives us something to look forward to. Kendrick takes his time Drake has given us so much music I don’t know if he has another gear,” he added.

He continued on to explain what he meant, “We know Kendrick has another gear. We know this because he shows us that with every project. I don’t think Drake has another gear, so therefore I’m not looking forward to anything.” Charlemagne is known for grabbing headlines with his controversial opinions, and this is probably just that, his opinion.

Drake’s last project, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, sold 223,000 equivalent album units in its first week. It was only announced hours before being released. Even though he hasn’t released much music this year, his two efforts, “Toosie Slide” and his collab with Lil Durk “Laugh Now Cry Later,” peaked at No. 1 and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, respectively.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, NBA YoungBoy The Top Streaming Rappers On YouTube In 2020

Tekashi 6ix9ine and NBA YoungBoy are the top two most streamed rappers on YouTube in 2020.

It’s been a wild year for Tekashi 6ix9ine. He was released from prison earlier this year after COVID-19 fears in April. He challenged professional boxer Gervonta Davis at a strip club and is facing accusations for not maintaining one of his children. Not to mention he’s had beef with veteran rapper Eminem. In short, he’s no stranger to controversy or headlines. It seems he will at least get to close off the year on a positive note after it was revealed that he is the most viewed rapper on YouTube in 2020.

That was probably largely helped by his record-breaking “GOOBA,” which he released in May, a month after his release. According to Chart Data, the video got the biggest 24-hour debut for a hip-hop video ever in YouTube history. It was streamed at least 43 million times on the first day. The previous record was held by his now rival Eminem for the Machine Gun Kelly diss song, “Killshot” in 2018. That had 38.1 million views in its first 24 hours. Tekashi’s “GOOBA” has reached over 650 million views at the moment on YouTube.

He came in at number 21 on the overall list of most viewed songs this year with about 2.3 billion views. Placing number 22 on the list, and second, among the rappers, was YoungBoy Never Broke Again with close to 2.2 billion views. His older tracks keep bringing in the views for him. “Untouchable,” released in 2017, has about 212 million views, and “Valuable Pain,” released in 2018, has about 172 million. His early work this year also has received a good number of views. His song “Lil Top” has about 99 million views, and “Bad Bad” has about 90 million.

Rounding up the top three rappers was Eminem, who had about two billion views and landed at number 27 on the list. Even though released ten years ago, one of his most popular songs on YouTube remains “Love the Way you Lie” with Rihanna, which has reached over two billion views. His track with Juice WRLD this year called “Godzilla” has about 294 million views.

Take a look at the most viewed artists on YouTube for 2020.

Tami Chin Makes First Performance In 8 Years At Appleton’s “Reserve the Night” Concert

Tami Chin and her husband Wayne Marshall have become viral sensations with their renditions of various dances and songs. It seems that this has kept her vocal cords in great shape as she delivered a phenomenal performance last Sunday, December 27, at Appleton’s “Reserve the Night” Concert.

It’s amazing how Tami Chin, formerly Tami Chynn, pulled off such a powerful performance with ease, considering she hasn’t performed live in eight years! Her husband and sister Tessanne Chin also performed at the event. It was streamed live. Fans knew they were in for a treat as soon as she began her set with “Hyperventilating”. She followed that up with stellar performances of “Frozen” and “Over and Over Again.” Showing her range, she also added Capleton’s “Or Wah” and Damian Marley’s “There For You.”

Even though it must have been nerve-racking getting back on stage after such a long hiatus, she was happy to rise to the challenge, and she shared her feelings via Twitter following the performance. She also thanked her fans for the support.

“Wow guys. The love is so overwhelming. Thank you for the immense support and thanks so much tuning in. It’s been 8 years since I performed. It was a beautiful moment for me. Thanks for sharing that with me.”

Wow guys. The love is so overwhelming. Thank you for the immense support and thanks so much tuning in. It’s been 8 years since I performed. It was a beautiful moment for me. Thanks for sharing that with me.

— Tami Chin Mitchell (@tamichinmitch) December 28, 2020

Tami Chin fans agreed with her that the performance was top-class. “Not lying, I had stopped to see what all the talk was about, and wanted to see your performance, … I was hooked. And watched it all. Enjoyed every minute. You all did well. Need a repeat show,” this fan said while this one added, “Omggggg tami….listen….this whole show brought me through soo many emotions….smiles, tears, laughter omggg…. This was soo awesome….”

She also used Instagram to share her feelings about the performance. She gave a much more detailed account of how she felt. She also thanked both her husband and Tessane for their support.

“To say we had a blast would be an understatement.? I had a full circle moment last night. The last time I performed I was 6 months pregnant with Jax. 8 years later, I sat in the living room watching this performance with Alex who kept saying “I remember that song!” I was simultaneously feeding my 16month old, trying to get my 4 year old to stop jumping on the couch and trying to tune out the now 7yr old who was begging me to change the channel. LOL. Talk about #realitycheck?.”

She added: “So much has changed but some things have remained the same; My daddy was right there beside me cheering me on, my hubby was staring at me lovingly and the “after show high” is still a real thing.? My love for music remains even if I only choose to do it every now and again for fun. I was reminded that our gifts don’t ever leave us, they sometimes just need a little waking up. A likkle acknowledgement. A likkle nudge. And when you do call on those gifts, they come right back to you and they help you to sometimes remember who you are and how far you’ve come.”

Tyrese & Samantha Gibson Announces Divorce After 5 Years, “My heart is so full”

Tyrese and his wife Samantha Gibson are getting a divorce after 4 years of marriage.

They both took to Instagram to share that they have chosen to go their separate ways by ending their marriage. A joint statement from them on Tyrese’s Instagram account to his 13.4 million followers read that their “intention is to remain the best of friends and strong coparents.”

The statement went on to say, “we feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other. Our journey together has been a ride of both ups and downs, but it’s a journey that neither of us would have chosen to take with anyone else.”

Tyrese has also commented online in reaction to the news about the divorce, and it seems that he is not done as he declared his forever love for his wife Samantha.

He started by saying that marriages among the black community suffer particular struggles due to the lack of examples in the community for others to follow. “black families and marriages are under attack… I’ve wrestled with this question … how can we naturally know how to BE something we never raised by? Most of us were raised in broken homes with NO examples of what being a husband, wife or FATHER is… I repeat…..how can we naturally know how to BE something we were never raised by?”

Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Ignite Twitter As Romance Blossom In Barbados

Rihanna and her boo A$AP Rocky excite fans as their romance continues to blossom in Barbados.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been spending a lot of time of late as they enjoy each other’s company in the RiRi’s home island of Barbados. They’ve been spotted out and about for a stroll, but now images have surfaced with them cozying up, confirming rumors that the two have been in a secret relationship for months now.

The couple is clearly enjoying their holiday getaway as they were spotted enjoying a boat ride while getting cozy with each other. Both of them were wearing their masks as they made their way to the pier. Rihanna can be seen wearing a cowl neck glitter mini dress while Rocky has on three quarter denim pants along with a cream-colored cap and matching t-shirt.

One photo shows Rihanna standing in front of Rocky as she touches his legs, while other photos show them standing close together in almost a hug. Rocky is seen laughing at Rihanna, and at one point, she appears to be sitting on Rocky’s lap.

The couple also enjoyed the day out as they donned life jackets, and Rihanna took him on a Jet Ski ride as she showed off her island skills of being an island girl. Later on, the couple also went on a tube ride as the tube was pulled through the sea by a speed boat.

Social media reacted to the couple as many came to finality as to the speculations that the pair was a thing. Many were happy for the couple, while a few tweeted that they are not fans of Rocky, who is a “colorist” for his comments about Black Lives Matter saying that he isn’t affected.

Oher fans also joked as they called out both artists – “where is the new music?” clearly speaking to Rihanna’s much-anticipated album that has not been given a drop date as well as fans wanting new music from Rocky.

Tyrese Range Rover Stolen From Driveway, Singer Bails Out Car Thieves

Tyrese is counting his losses after thieves allegedly stole his range rover from the driveway of his Buckhead mansion.

The incident was reported by WBSTV in Atlanta, saying that police were called to Tyrese’s Buckhead Mansion home after he realized that his Range Rover was missing. According to the police report, Tyrese said he parked the luxury vehicle in the driveway around 1:15 am but only discovered it missing around 8 am the next day. Tyrese had also forgotten to remove the keys out of the vehicle, which also helped the car thieves during the uninterrupted mission.

Home security footage showed a four door sedan circling the block before a man can be seen hopping out and walking towards Tyrese’s vehicle before getting in. Meanwhile, Tyrese posted online that the Range was retrieved in three (3) hours.

He added that he is now seeking to assist the young men who committed the criminal act “got the Range back in 3 hours….And tryna nail the these youngsta’s out…they just here tryna get money… I ain’t mad at all…All love stay safe out there 2020 has tried to wipe us all out…”

In an act that many did not agree with, Tyrese continued, “Forgive them for they know not what they do….Amen.”

Many fans reacted with praise for the move, with one fan reacting to Tyrese’s update “love this so much! They shouldn’t of took it, but for you still try to help them shows your character!”

Meanwhile, others commented on the increasing crime in areas like Buckhead, where Tyrese lives as criminal targets well off neighborhoods.

Briggs – 3rd World War Lyrics

We’ll come home when the battle’s over
We’ll come home with clothes all drenched in blood
This is the life we chose
This is how the story goes
For those who fight in the 3rd world war

It’s us against the world today
You know, could go on forever
(Forever)
Pollute our minds with what they say
You gotta run alone but I know it ain’t so
(Ain’t so)
We can have it our own way
But we gotta learn to work together
(Together)

I see them capitalizing on other peoples woes
I see them on the streets and everywhere I go

We’ll come home when the battle’s over
We’ll come home with clothes all drenched in blood
This is the life we chose
This is how the story goes
For those who fight in the 3rd world war

You try to understand everything we say
You try to analyze everything we do
Ask me what it is that we’re fighting for
It’s for freedom that we fight the 3rd world war

Living in the world today
I see that things could be much better
(Better)
But I’m never gonna give up
Not gonna lay my head down, no never
(Never)
You live your life for just one day
The faceless never remembered
(Remembered)

I see them capitalizing on other people’s woes
I see them on the streets and everywhere I go

We’ll come home when the battle’s over
We’ll come home with clothes all drenched in blood
This is the life we chose
This is how the story goes
For those who fight in the 3rd world war

Michael Cretu – Silver Water Lyrics

Silver water
Falling out of the sky
Silver water
make a river so high
Let a killer go under
Kill a devil of hunger
Silver water
Turn to gold in my hand
Silver water
Take a hold on my land
Build a mountain of thunder
I believe in a wonder

Depeche Mode – Going Backwards (Highline Sessions Version) Lyrics

Play this song

[Chorus 1]
We are not there yet
We have not evolved
We have no respect
We have lost control
We’re going backwards
Ignoring the realities
Going backwards
Are you counting all the casualties?

[Chorus 2]
We are not there yet
Where we need to be
We are still in debt
To our insanities
We’re going backwards
Turning back our history
Going backwards
Piling on the misery

[Verse 1]
We can track it all with satellites
See it all in plain sight
Watch men die in real time
But we have nothing inside
We feel nothing inside

[Chorus 3]
We are not there yet
We have lost our soul
The course has been set
We’re digging our own hole
We’re going backwards
Armed with new technology
Going backwards
To a caveman mentality

[Verse 2]
We can emulate on consoles
Killings we can control
With senses that have been dulled
Because there’s nothing inside
We feel nothing inside

[Outro]
We feel nothing inside
(We feel nothing, nothing inside)
We feel nothing inside
(We feel nothing, nothing inside)
We feel nothing inside
(We feel nothing, nothing inside)
We feel nothing inside
(We feel nothing, nothing inside)
We feel nothing inside
(We feel nothing, nothing inside)
Because there’s nothing inside
Because there’s nothing inside

And even more in Australia
A broken royal family
Fuck you, Harvey Weinstein

Lady Saw Not Backsliding Into Dancehall Says Pastor Who Baptized Her

Lady Saw is not backsliding but plans to return to dancehall.

Dancehall fans are divided since hearing the news that Minister Marion Hall is returning to dancehall. Some think it’s exciting to have the fiery songstress back in the genre, while others believe she’s just exploiting it for her own gains. Hall has made no mention that she intends to return as Lady Saw, and nobody’s quite sure what her brand of dancehall will sound like. Amidst the bit of confusion, the minister who baptized Hall has every confidence that she is not backsliding but simply responding to a calling.

Bishop Everton Thomas spoke with the Jamaica Star to share his feelings about Hall’s planned return to music. He believes that she will not be returning as her former persona.

“Marion is not going back into the dancehall as an artiste where she was coming from because she is too grounded,” he said. Bishop is the head of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church. He added that she was defending herself and there was no sin in that. “There are times when the Lord uses you as the instrument in that fight, just as He did with David,” he said. He maintained that she had the right to defend herself because RT Boss “a try buss offa her.”

RT Boss made a name for himself in the past two weeks after he went after Spice and Hall with spurious claims about the two being involved in an obeah triangle. He said that “a Lady Saw first start do obeah so me did haffi put on heat on Lady Saw make she run.”

Hall has since denied the claims and, during her two-hour sermon last Sunday, December 27, said she would use “Holy Ghost missiles” to defend her name when she drops “Mi Soon Alright” on January 1.

During the sermon, Lady Saw also said that no one could stop her from using dancehall music. “If I want to go into the dancehall to proclaim the Word of Jesus, who is going to stop me? If I want to go back into the enemy’s camp, I will go. I am not looking for you to agree with me. Nobody nuh bad like Jesus,” she said.

Steve Tyrell – Until The Real Thing Comes Along Lyrics

Don’t you know I’d work for you, I’d slave for you
Be a beggar or a knave for you
If that isn’t love it will have to do
Until the real thing comes along

Gladly move the earth for you
Prove my love dear, and it’s worth for you
If that isn’t love it’ll have to do
Until the real thing comes along

With all the words dear at my command
I just can’t make you understand
I’ll always love you baby – come what may
My heart is yours – what more can I say

I would cry for you, even sigh for you
Tear those stars down from the sky for you
If that isn’t love it’ll have to do
Until the real thing comes along

Walk on burning coals for you

I would drive the Chrysler, leave the Rolls for you
If that ain’t love it will have to do
Until the real thing comes along

I would try to hit high “C” for you
I’d even punch out Mr. T for you
If that ain’t love it will have to do
Until the real thing comes along

There’s not a thing that you can’t ask of me
Go on, demand any task of me
If you want the moon or a lavaliere
All you got to do is nibble on my ear

I would rob, steal, beg, borrow, and lie for you
Lay my little body down and die for you
(If that ain’t love – if that isn’t love)
If that ain’t love it will have to do
Until the real thing comes along

Jasper Steverlinck – So Far Away From Me Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I want to feel if this is real
But you’re so far away from me
With every card you play my heart
You’re so far away from me

[Chorus]
Oh lover can’t you see?
We’re standing on the brink
Oh lover can’t you see?
It’s hurting me

[Verse 2]
With every cry we say goodbye
You’re so far away from me
Into the night away we slide
You’re so far away from me

[Chorus]
Oh lover can’t you see?
We’re standing on the brink
Oh lover can’t you see?
It’s hurting me

[Bridge]
All the games that you’re playing
All the words that you’re saying
They mess with my heart
They mess with my heart
We’re on the road to ruin
Who are we fooling?
We were lost from the start
We were lost from the start
[Chorus]
Oh lover can’t you see?
There’s not much left of me
Oh lover can’t you tell
Your heaven from your hell?

[Outro]
I want to feel if this is real
But you’re so far away from me
With every card you play my heart
You’re so far away from me

Young Thug Responds To Jerrika Karlae Abuse, “Been single for dam near 2 years”

Young Thug and Jerrika Karlae have actually been apart for longer than we thought, and the rapper says for the record, not “everything about me.”

Amidst Young Thug’s former fiance Jerrika Karlae tweeting, “Single 2021,” the rapper revealed that he has been single for nearly two years. Fans were in a tizzy when Jerrika issued a series of tweets seemingly alluding to Thugger allegedly abused her. “F**k out my mentions, if you support anything other than my happiness f*ck off and unfollow me,” she wrote. “Ppl that go out they way to show other ppls flaws to make themselves look better scare me.”

As the speculation online that the rapper and Jerrika were having problems grew thicker, Young Thug cleared the air before the story reached the eye of the media storm. “Been single for dam near 2 years now,” wrote Thugger on Instagram Stories. “Stop thinking everything about me.” This revelation came as a shock to fans who were blindsided by just how long Thugger had been a single man. Just last year Jerrika was believed to still be engaged to the Atlanta rapper, or it at least seemed that way during her interview appearances.

However, for more than a year, Young Thug has been disengaged and enjoying life the way single men do. I guess it was hard to tell because the rapper hasn’t been spotted with a new flame. This year, Thugger was focused on other things. He earned a pair of Billboard Top 10 hits in 2020: first with the successful release of his Slime & B mixtape with Chris Brown that spawned the smash hit “Go Crazy,” which peaked at No. 9 and topped the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart; then with his second career No. 1 for his guest appearance on Travis Scott’s “Franchise” which also features M.I.A.

Do you think Young Thug’s longtime partner-turned-ex-fiance was the only woman for him? Is there hope for these two, or is the rapper way past that?

I-Octane Showcases Massive Weight Loss After 6 Months

I-Octane drop a whole body in just six months.

I-Octane shocked fans at his massive weight gain during the year that left him with a big belly and his face plump and almost recognizable. Now, the artiste is showing off his hard work and dedication as he drops the quarantine bodyweight showing a slim and sexy I-Octane that his fans are used to.

In an Instagram post showing before and after photos, he said he gained the weight due to various stressful situations he was going through. “Life comes with ups and downs but when your [sic] facing bad times that’s how you know your true character.”

He added that the pictures of him being fat were taken six (6) months ago before he went on his weight loss journey, which included dieting and exercise guided by celebrity personal trainer Patrice White. White has been training a number of artistes, including Elephant Man, Beenie Man, Krystal Tomlinson, and many others. A few weeks back, Elephant Man and I-Octane had a workout battle as the two sought to beat the other on stamina and endurance as Patrice dropped challenging exercises on them.

I-Octane said when he gained weight, many persons “styled” him. “I see and hear everyone who did a style me when I was going tru a ruff time in llife so gained weight because of the stress it comes with….but guess what, mi neva dead so I know once my mind is in the right place again I can fix it.”

He also had advice for those living a healthier life “…this message is for the people out there who a go tru the samething and wants to give up. Listen to me don’t, pls don’t. Mek dem laugh and talk just stay focus and work on you.”

I-Octane’s trainer also chimed in saying, “muscles loading in 2021. Shredded Ras we say.” Well, ladies, Patrice is in the process of creating an eye candy for the New Year!

J. Cole Announces ‘The Fall Off’ Mixtape Ahead Of New Album & Retirement

J. Cole announced he’s planning to release “The Fall Off” mixtape ahead of his new album and possible retirement from rap.

Following J. Cole’s surprise announcement via Instagram yesterday, December 29, of how he’s going to release new music, fans have been speculating that he’s getting ready to hang up his gloves. Many suspects that “The Fall Off” may be his last album and part of a retirement plan.

While they were happy that Cole revealed that he has multiple projects which he is pursuing, many felt that the caption of the post is him hinting that he’s going to make his exit from the genre. It certainly has raised eyebrows. He said, “I still got some goals I gotta check off for’ I scram…”

He makes the post alongside a photo with a list titled “The Fall Off Era.” Under the title, there is a list including the words “Features” and “ROTD3,” which are crossed out, suggesting that these projects are done. Under these names, he lists “The Off Season,” “It’s a Boy,” and “The Fall Off,” which could mean these are the last three albums he intends to work on.

“The Fall Off” is not a new idea from Cole, who first revealed it when it featured as the final track of his most recent album KOD back in 2018. Fans were expecting new music from him this year, but he revealed that the coronavirus delayed the progress of that album. He’s released two singles this year called “The Climb Back” and “Lion King on Ice.”

Fans commenting on the post demanded answers, and others expressed shock at what they had interpreted to be the artist’s last few albums. This fan said, “What the f*&k does this mean Cole,” this fan said, “WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN,” and another fan added, “We aint gonna let you scram wym lol.” He’s holding his cards close to his chest so we’ll all just have to wait and see.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Disses King Von, Accuses Lil Durk Of Exploiting Rapper’s Death

Tekashi 6ix9ine slams Lil Durk accusing him of profiting off King Von.

The rap world has mourned a lot of their rising stars this year. One of the deaths that rocked many fans was the killing of King Von, who was fatally shot outside of an Atlanta hookah bar. As many continue to mourn the young rapper, one of his colleagues, Lil Durk, has taken it upon himself to offer whatever kind of help that he can give to Von’s family.

Recently he spent some time with Von’s children after releasing his highly anticipated album ‘The Voice’. While it appears he’s trying to do the decent thing and give support to the young family, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine believes Durk is only exploiting the family for his own selfish reasons.

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

While Durk obviously took the death of his friend hard, Tekashi made harsh and unfounded accusations via Twitter. He made his feelings known after Akademiks posted about Durk’s mixtape on Instagram. According to the Akademiks’ post, the project has been doing well so far and is expected to sell roughly 55,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week.

Tekashi 6ix9ine responded with, “Used Von name for sales. Is NOT blackballed has all industry support. 55k and his man was caught in 4K #KingVon REST IN PISS.”

The baseless and tactless comments from 6ix9ine does not add up, especially since before his death, Durk signed Von to his Only The Family imprint label. He did so a short while before Von released the single “Crazy Story” in 2018. This isn’t the first time that Tekashi has had words for Durk as he’s trolled him for low album sales before. That started a hot back and forth between the two on social media, which lasted for weeks. It seems like Tekashi 69 feels threatened because, in September, he said Drake was the only reason Lil Durk has ever been successful.

Lamar Odom Accuses his Ex of Holding his Social Media Hostage

Lamar Odom’s breakup with Sabrina Parr is getting messy.

It is almost two months since the basketball player and his fiancée, Sabrina Parr, split ways by calling off their year-long engagement, only to get back together a week later. The reconciliation didn’t last, however, with Sabrina lashing out on Instagram that no one can be trusted except for God. While the initial breakup was met with kind words from the personal trainer who said of Lamar, “I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs,” it appears that things have since turned sour.

The LA Lakers champion has accused his ex of holding hostage his social media accounts. “I’ve been working hard to build my brand and a new team,” Lamar wrote on the ‘gram alongside a video in which he preaches self-love. “Unfortunately my social media platforms are being held hostage by my ex and we are working hard to recover my passwords for IG and Twitter. If any of y’all know someone who can get it reset for me hit my brand managers DM ASAP.”

A post shared by The Shade Room (@theshaderoom)

Many have questioned why the 41-year-old has not attempted to reset his password the old-fashioned way unless Sabrina has access to his email too. She has since responded to the claims, calling them disappointing. “We both know the truth and I can assure you no truth is being told on their end,” Sabrina wrote on her IG Story.

This is not the first troubled relationship in Lamar’s life. His 4-year marriage to Khloé Kardashian was riddled with drug and alcohol abuse and cheating, with the athlete revealing in his 2019 memoir that he is a sex addict.

Toni Childs – The Woman’s Boat Lyrics

Ooh now, I am a woman
And you are a man
I was born different from you
On this earth we both stand

Now, as a daughter
I have learned rules and laws
What to say and not to say
What’s acceptable to be called

In the woman’s boat
On the woman’s sea
They are calling us
They are calling us to sea

And yes, I have my worries
About the human race
You see my breasts are aching
And I hope it’s not too late

For the woman’s boat
On the woman’s sea
They are calling us
And they’re calling me

How the seasons change?
They rock and they rage

Will I please allow the thunder
And the birth inside of me?

Now, do you believe in powers
Like the human and the seed?
And how evolution happens
How the whirlpool spins in me?

Oh, grandmother tell us your secrets
Your stories passed down through the years
Could I really believe it?
Is there something happening here?

In the woman’s boat
On the woman’s sea
Is there something hidden
Something to see

Oh, the seasons change
They’re rocky and they rage
Will I please allow the thunder
And the birth inside of me?
